JD of E&TC Engineering Intern

About the Role
We are looking for Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering Interns to support development and testing of embedded/IoT/robotics electronics covering circuit design, sensor interfacing, communication protocols, debugging, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in hardware bring-up, testing, and debugging of embedded boards/modules.
- Work on sensor interfacing (analog + digital) and basic signal conditioning.
- Support communication interfaces: UART, I2C, SPI, RS-485, CAN (as applicable).
- Help in PCB schematic review / PCB layout support (KiCad/EasyEDA/Altium – any one).
- Perform lab testing using DMM, oscilloscope, logic analyzer; maintain test logs.
- Support firmware team with test vectors, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting notes.
- Prepare clear documentation: wiring diagrams, test procedures, BoM notes, revision logs.
Required Skills (Must Have)
- Fundamentals of electronics: resistors/caps/diodes/transistors, op-amp basics.
- Understanding of microcontrollers and interfacing concepts.
- Basic knowledge of communication protocols (UART/I2C/SPI).
- Ability to use basic lab instruments (DMM; oscilloscope is a plus).
- Basic programming awareness (C / Arduino / Python basics is fine).
Good to Have
- PCB tools: KiCad / EasyEDA / Altium
- IoT stacks: ESP32, Wi-Fi/BLE basics, MQTT basics
- Soldering/rewire skills and connector crimping
- Familiarity with EMC/noise, grounding, shielding (basic)
